The places

An Outpost can be almost anything.

A flat spot big enough to turn a rig around. Some are businesses you'd want to visit anyway. Others are just good ground in the right place, like a pasture standing empty over summer, twenty minutes from country you've meant to ride for years.

Why it isn't just parking

Every Outpost is near riding.

You'll see what you could ride from each place: trails within a reasonable haul, the trailhead parking, and whether there's water. Somewhere to sleep an hour from the trailhead, instead of a truck-stop lot.

You bring your own containment, feed and water, like most traveling riders already do. The host provides the ground, and somewhere good to be while you're there. The whole code: pack out your manure, buy something, close the gate.
