Outrider · Coming soon

Go further with your horse.

The trail details that actually matter — water, trailer parking, what the road in is really like — and the people to go ride it with.

The questions you already ask

Every trail guide answers the wrong ones.

Distance and elevation are easy — everybody has those. These are the ones riders actually text each other the night before, and nobody has ever put them in an app.

Can I get my rig in there, and will there be room?

Gravel · any vehicle · 12 spots

Is there water, and will it still be running in August?

Cold Spring, mi 2 · year round

Can my horse handle the footing?

Granite, some rock · 2 crossings

Is the lot going to be full when I get there?

Fills by 8am Saturdays

In the app

The answers, in your hand.

The list answers those four questions before you tap anything. The trail itself is where the rest lives — every line dated and signed, so you can judge how much to trust it.

One link, and they're coming

This is what you send.

Plan a ride, share one link. Everything they need to know is on it, and they say they're coming without downloading a thing.

  • They see who else is going People come because their friends are coming. That's the whole thing.

How the trails get here

Ridden, then written down.

Every trail here was ridden by a person who then wrote down what they found, and it gets checked again as things change. It's slower than copying somebody else's list — and it's the reason you can trust what it says.

Verified means verified

If a trail hasn't been ridden and confirmed, it's marked that way. You'll always know whether you're reading someone's notes or a placeholder.

Conditions stay current

After a ride, the people who were just out there report what they found — water, parking, downed trees. Dated, so you can judge it.

The map follows the riders

It fills in wherever there's somebody on the ground to confirm it — which right now is the eastern Sierra, and next is wherever you are. A thin map of the whole country helps nobody.

Get in touch

Go somewhere you haven't been.

Outrider is early, and it's being built with the people using it. If you organize rides and want to try it with your group, say hello — you'll have a say in how this works.
